Bytemarks Cafe
“Burt Lum is Bytemarks and Bytemarks is on the pulse of the technology movement here in Hawai’i.”
I first met Burt at the inaugural and very successful Unconferenz here on Oahu, but it wasn’t until we were both pitted to challenge each other in the White Crane stance that I grew to truly respect his leadership abilities. If given the opportunity, Burt and I could talk for hours about everything and anything because he is just that interesting and very well versed.
Many of you may recall the Bytemarks name from a column that Burt wrote for the Honolulu Advertiser or his podcast, Rough Take but if you’re like me, this is your first “byte mark” and what a great time to be bitten!
KIPO-FM 89.3, one of Hawai’i’s Public Radio Stations will be debuting Bytemarks Cafe, “a one-hour magazine format that showcases the innovation and creativity in Hawaii’s community of tech entrepreneurs, social media pioneers, thought provoking bloggers, multimedia artists as well as builds bridges with the business ecosystem that supports them” in July.
Ideas for shows reeling through your mind? Awesome! Burt is open to ideas and topics for shows and has asked that you either email, Twitter or contribute to the Bytemarks Wiki.
