During our vacation this past Spring to Arizona, Lilinoe’s sister Ashley recommended that we visit Rawhide, an 1800′s Western Town existing in the millennium. What an awesome experience!
Desert Train Ride – Seated in a carriage made for two, the train winds through the town brushing past the gravestones of the perished towns people.

Gold Panning – To have been alive during the gold rush! Rawhide offers a full experience of panning for gold worth it’s weight in “rawhide” money.

Petting Ranch – It’s similar to the Keiki Zoo we have home here at the Honolulu Zoo, but it’s always a different experience.

Arrest a Guest – Only for fun!

Deadman’s Drop – Watching Chelsea traverse and negotiate the rock was a metaphor of her overcoming the obstacles of her life. In the end as she has with her accomplishment she rang the bell in victory!

DINING:
By the time the dinner bell rang in town, we were some starving settlers! We each ordered their signature steak grilled over red-hot mesquite coal while we enjoyed the songs of the local entertainment.
