Tweet-Up With Guy Kawasaki

Guy KawasakiTo some, the path that led to my life today is inspiring, amazing, and a geek’s fairy tale if you will. In a kilobyte, in less than a year I went from checking my email daily and maybe reading the Honolulu Advertiser online, to being mentored by the internationally known author, speaker and venture capitalist Guy Kawasaki. For him I am grateful.

Guy is home in Hawai’i for personal business, but is anxious to connect with the local tech community so my dear friend, Ryan Ozawa and I organized a Tweet-up! Announced only yesterday, there are a dozen RSVPs on Upcoming, another dozen confirmed but don’t have Upcoming accounts, and dozens more wanting to attend but already have plans.

Ian Kitajima (my friend whom owns some of the best toys, Garage Band included) and my non-techie Lilinoe will set-up live streaming for everyone unable to come. If you’re reading this via reader, come to From the Mind of NEENZ to watch and engage in conversation as someone will be monitoring the chat room.

  1. Neenz –

Hoʻomaikaʻi! You and Ryan really pulled this together fast and beautifully. Shane counted 37 peeps!

And Guy? Well to date I always find him entertaining and his point of view refreshing. (ANd I rarely use the word “always”)

I am so glad we could be there.

Neenz, Guy is an amazing “guy” (no pun intended) with so much to share with all of us. Enjoyed watching your live-stream of the event. He makes tech and “geek” stuff fun which and I’m hooked. Mahalo!
