This Wednesday I will be attending “Web 2.0: Are You in the Know?” an event sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Hawai’i chapter. The purpose of this event is to introduce the local public relations industry to new media tools; blogging, podcasting, video blogging, etc. Guest speakers include my friend, Roxanne Darling of Barefoot Studios; Honolulu Star Bulletin columnist Nadine Kam and representatives of StarrTech Interactives.
I’ll be covering the event on Twitter and if allowed streaming live From the Mind of NEENZ. I look forward to the networking opportunities, after all, new media is my passion!
W00t! Unfortunately, I have been told “no video or live streaming.” I plan to discuss this during the talk and will have my N95 phone too so maybe something will shift. And I would be happy to live stream a short piece just us and any volunteers outside of the main program if you want. As for Twitter, tweet away! I would also like to ask for your help on a few things, so we can talk over lunch.
