In case you missed the episode in Hawaii, here’s the segment of Highway Inn which features commentary from yours truly and the always wonderful, Lilinoe Mendiola. I’ll have you know that we’ve dined at the restaurant three times since the episode aired on April 5! Watching the preparation of the lau lau makes my mouth water and watching me virtually cut into the luau leaf causes me to round up the kids, grab my keys, and drive over to Waipahu.
