Yesterday, my homeboy Ed Morita, more commonly known as @nctrnlbst on Twitter, hosted the eighth episode of Hawaii IRL’s Mix It Up! The show was livestreamed from the Hula Grill restaurant in the Outrigger Waikiki overlooking beautiful Waikiki beach. We covered Waikiki Beach Walk‘s Loco Moco Smackdown and presented a few viewers with gift certificates to local restaurants. Lately, I find myself spending more time in Waikiki, not necessarily for work related events, but because there are a lot of different restaurants and venues geared to the local palate. Besides, at one time Waikiki Wall’s was my second home, spending many hours in the water, on the sand, and in the culture.
